Week 3 Thursday Evaluate the Carousel


Today you will detail your experience of the Carousel and start to use Critical Analysis to evaluate how your skills are being developed so far. 


You will:



  1. List your week on the Carousel
  2. Detail methods for Critical Analysis 
  3. Compare two Carousel Sessions 
  4. Interview each other to Critically compare peers feedback



  1. List your week on the Carousel
Task 1 (15 mins)
  1. Document what you did in the session on Tuesday and Wednesday (Pictures, Diary entries, Printouts ETC)
  2. List under the following 
  • Research that you carry out in these sessions
  • Skills that you have tried, 
  • Any processes 
  • and methods you used.
  • Any tools that you used.

2.Detail methods for Critical Analysis
Now we will start a process of critically comparing these points from last week.

Task 2 (10 mins)

Watch this and note the 5 tips to improve critical thinking



List the 5 Points from the video to use in your critical evaluations.

3.Compare two Carousel Sessions to compare




Task 3 (20 mins)

4. Audio record an interview with another and post it on your blog


Task 4 (40 mins)

In groups or pairs interview each-other on your progress in the Carousel so far. Together think about and create up to 5 questions that will enable the person being interviewed to:


  • Tell you about the things they have done so far.
  • Explain any processes and methods used
  • Critically compare a range of communication methods used in the Carousel so far
Publish these onto the same post as task 3
